Benefits:
Nicarbazin:
Has both coccidiostat and coccidiocidal properties. Effective against caecal and intestinal coccidiosis (E. tenella and E. necatrix). Resistance development is very slow. Does not affect immunity development in birds.
Salinomycin:
Forms complexes with cations present in the gut lumen and transports them through the cell membrane. Disturbs intracellular ion concentration resulting in parasite destruction. Controls growth of gram-positive bacteria like Clostridium, preventing Necrotic enteritis.
