Nicarbazin:
Has both coccidiostat and coccidiocidal properties. Effective against caecal and intestinal coccidiosis (E. tenella and E. necatrix). Acts primarily on second generation schizonts.
Ethopabate:
Competitor of PABA, interferes with folate synthesis. Recommended for prophylaxis and treatment of coccidiosis. Acts on most intestinal Eimeria species.
