COMPOSITION:
Tylvalosin (as Tylvalosin tartrate) 62.5 %
INDICATION:
- Sunlosin 62.5% is indicated for prevention and treatment of Mycoplasmosis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, M. synoviae and other Mycoplasma species) and diseases associated with Clostridium perfringens (enteritis resulting in wet litter syndrome and cholangiohepatitis) in chickens and pullets Sunlosin 62.5% is also indicated for prevention and treatment of Mycoplasmosis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum) in pheasants Additionally it also has high activity against Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT) of poultry.
DOSAGE:
- For use in drinking water.
- Treatment and prevention of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum & Mycoplasma synoviae:
- As a therapeutic treatment of CRD use in water at. 20-25 mg activity/kg bw for 3 days, normally achieved by dissolving 40gm per 200 litres of drinking water
- To prevent clinical signs of CRD in Mycoplasma positive birds use in water at 20-25 mg activity/kg for first 3 days of life. This may be followed by 10-15 mg advity/kg bw for 3-4 days (normally 40gm per 400 litres) during times of stress such as vaccination, change of feed and/or for 3-4 days each month.
Treatment and prevention of diseases associated with Clostridium perfringens:
- To prevent clinical signs use 25mg activity/kg bw for 3-4 days for the first 3 days of life followed by 10-15 mg activity/kg bw for 3-4 days starting 2 days before the expected outbreak. For treatment use 25mg/kg bw for 3-4 days
